I am first a student of psychology and philosophy, using photography as my primary medium to communicate, but have moved into phototherapy and therapeutic photography as a means to help souls heal and discover their true selves through creativity.
The natural and vulnerable state of the nude fascinated and confused me from a very young age, because it is something that we all are, yet it remains something that most of us are afraid of, spending our lives creating layers of social armor, and perfecting characters to hide ourselves, to fit in the best we can, and even excel, in the roles that we are told to play. Meanwhile, most spend their spare time and energy trying to figure out who they are, feeling lost and out of place in this world they are told is right, while fighting with unresolved traumas that they know are wrong. I use photography and creativity as tools for healing, which beautifully coincides as a way to assist souls in better understanding who they are, who we all are, by slowly removing layers of unconscious conditioning and confronting egocentric preferences, generally from traumas, which are the deepest roots of our fears.
On June 1st, 2022, we quit our California mountain town, and headed out on the road in a pop up camper named Dale.
We are in search of spiritual and creative communities to contribute our own healing and inspiration, as well as open a universal dialogue about spirituality and creativity, and how they relate to healing.
